Tell me... Must-have Makeup

Tell me...if you could keep only one makeup product, what would it be?

While you think about it, please enjoy this picture of pre-domestic Becky circa 1987. Looks like I was loving this preschool makeup set!

Also, be sure to check out this post by one of my fave bloggers and her battle with makeup here and here.

I love the photo! :) My must-have would be mascara. I don't have a particular favorite brand or type, but without it, I look like I am ill...seriously ill. So, I try and keep that around.

Mac's Mascara!! No Question

Amen, Mascara! Almost anything by Maybelline will do the job, but my favorite is the Define-A-Lash; they just came out with a waterproof version!!

I also couldn't live without Victoria's Secret's Beauty Rush lip gloss line - they are flavored, pretty and cheap!

I could definitely live a happy life without makeup. But, my one item that I love is Lancombe's mousse foundation.

MACs Studio Fix foundation powder. I never leave home without it... and mascara. My favorite is the plain Cover Girl kind that comes in the blue tube. The Lashblast in the orange tube is pretty good, too, but sometimes it is messy putting it on and I look like I drank too much the night before.

I love Jane Iredale's bronzer!! I am a fan of Mac and Jane Iredale. I was talking to a makeup artist once that did a ton of Hollywood makeup. I asked her what mascara was good and she told me that Maybelline has been doing mascara forever and they do it right.

I would look AWFUL without Mascara, let's be honest. BUT I am absolutely in love with MAC's Iridescent loose powder in Golden Bronze. It is the most natural looking bronzer i've ever seen. It makes you look fresh, and sunkissed. Even in the winter time :)

Hi Becky! I've clicked on so many blogs in the last half hour I don't even remember whose I found you through.

I only wear makeup on Sundays (to be honest, I only make it into the shower 3-4 times a week, so I never think about makeup during the week), and my vote would be mascara.

I read the 2 makeup posts from "Ali" you had linked to your site. I love her blog, though I have no idea who she is. Would she mind if I start reading her regularly and put her link on my site (which you are on now, yay!)?

Bare Minerals is awesome! I did the natural thing all of high school and even a good chunk of college. When i started teaching I needed to look older and starting doing the make-up thing a lot more. The only thing I've really loved since entering this world is Bare Minerals. It is worth the money- I promise!

The one makeup I can't live without is CARGO foundation and coverup. It turns me from hideous to pleasant in a matter of minutes. I also LOVE the Shu Uemura eyelash curler. It is by far the best I have ever used. The list could go on and on...I love makeup! Hope you're doing well :)
