POM Time - Pomegranate Arils

It's pomegranate season and this year I'm getting into it! I'm buying fresh ones, POM juice,  POM Arils (shown above) and hoping to make some fun recipes using pomegranate. What's not to love about these sweet, tangy delicious and healthy wonders! I just love how they burst in your mouth.

I'd love for you to share your favorite pomegranate recipe in the comments section. I'm looking for any sort of dish: appetizer, breakfasts, salad, entree, snack...anything!

I saw a picture of this salad in a grocery store flyer and have made it for every gathering since.

Mix together;
1 Bag of broccoli slaw mix
large handful of pom arils (if I am out of these I will used dried cranberries or dried cherries)
a bottle of poppyseed dressing.
then sprinkle top with slivered almonds.

Mmm I love pomegranate, but hate the mess and effort involved. I'll definitely be giving these a shot. And they'll probably be about the same price as a whole pomegranate.
