Tuesdays with Dorie: Flaky Apple Turnovers {Catch-up}

If ever a picture misreprented a baked good it would be this one for Flaky Apple Turnovers.

Dorie's recipe for Flaky Apple Turnovers is one of my absolute favorites in the entire Baking from My Home to Yours cookbook. Holy cow, the flaky sour cream dough was amazing. The filling was simple and absolutley perfect for fall. I was able to pick apples the same day I made these.

You can get the recipe on Jule's Blog. And see how the other TWD bakers liked it here.

These were so freaking good. They were flaky, buttery sweet, and the apple filling was perfect. Seriously, of all the things I've tasted this might be my all-time favorite.
