Holiday Breakfast Parfaits. This features my homemade granola, roasted-almondy pears, roasted cinnamon apples and greek yogurt. The roasted fruit is made with agave...oh they are delicious. (Note: my current favorite agave is Xagave. Love me some local) The holiday brunch menu features recipes you can make ahead.
I'm a huge fan of homemade marshmallows. I've tweaked around with several recipes and found the ultimate. Can't wait for you to try them yourself. I did a fun peppermint-striped variation.
Last but very not least is my new recipe for chocolate truffles. These come out perfect every time. There is no greater time than the holidays to purchase the best chocolate you can find. For me, that is Amano Chocolate. In this recipe I used Amano's Dos Rios, mainly for it's notes of citrus. Instead of going with a fancy cracking shell, I took a more approachable shell of simple cocoa powder and toasted coconut. So easy.
Now what are you waiting for! Be sure to view the magazine. It's delightful, it's delicious! I'm not much of a crafter, but the pinecone wreath and leather pinecone ornaments are something I swoon over.
